Anatomy of the Foot

The foot is comprised of 28 bones and 55 joints. The alignment of these bones and joints is vitally important to the efficiency and pain-free function of the foot. For the foot to function effectively the bones and joints are held in position by a series of tendons, ligaments and muscles.

When functioning properly, the bones, tendons, ligaments and muscles are an effective support for walking and standing. When the alignment of this system is upset

the foot no longer functions effectively causing pain and deformity.

Our innersoles support the natural arches of the foot and help the foot to function efficiently and pain free.
