Our orthotics fit perfectly into good basketball shoes that have deep heel counters, laces and strudy outsole.
A common question we’re asked is “what are the good features of a basketball shoe and which orthotics work best with their basketball shoes?”
Basketball shoe should have a lower heel to help to promote ankle stability and this makes less chance of having any inversion ankle sprain. They should have a high wearing outsole. Some basketball shoes are adjustable with laces, straps and velcro and these are great features to help to hold the foot in a neutral position even as the shoe stretches and the higher the the ankle got comes on the basketball shoe, the most support this will give the ankle and this is a great feedback to help you prevent spraining your ankles.
